Rio de Janeiro’s plastic work of art

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is a country highly populated. With it’s dense population, it is quite obvious that the city is literally littered with people both inhabitants of the country and tourist’s alike that are coming in by the millions all year round. People are compelled to visit this place because of it’s beauty and natural wonders and not to mention the exotic celebrations like the favelas in rio and marde gras to name a few. With this collaboration of people coming, plastics and other non biodegradable objects abound the city which causes a major problem. These plastics are the main causes of clogging the city’s canals and water ways.
Recently, A giant fish made with plastic bottles are exhibited at Botafogo beach, in Rio de Janeiro June 19, 2012. This is to show case the fight to eliminate the non -biodegradable waste of the city and  make the country a better place to live in in the years to come.
