health benefits of playing tennis

Every human being inhabiting this planet is obsessed with fitness, not a single soul deprives himself from being physically fit, thus, we  take food supplements but we are not really sure what it is supplementing. We are very conscious on the carb intake and the fast foods that we grab for our three square meals each day as well as the so-called “extras”. We go to the gym lift some weights and do a thirty minute cardio to burn the undesirable excess luggage, and for those who have a hectic schedule they buy stationary bikes or treadmills which in the long run defeats its purpose and turned out to be a rack for clothes, eliminating the health benefits that we get from the machines that we bought.
The point is we are pretty much preoccupied in getting fit but we loose interest and the enjoyment as we progress.

As for my personal opinion,  tennis is the best exercise to offset  all other exercises, all you have to do is grab a partner go to the court and play. You don't need any weights to lift for the tennis racquet is just enough weight for the whole duration of the game, running a mile is done by retrieving and returning the ball to the opponent from mid and back court. Aside from exercising the physical aspects. Other  health benefits are: it develops your mind (instinct) by anticipating where the ball hits next, it develops your muscles and the most important thing is the camaraderie that envelops among players.
