Snoop Dogg

The old cliche goes "there is nothing permanent in this world except change". This is true and precisely correct for the world is always changing and this goes to its inhabitants as well.

Recent news from Hollywood says that the king of rap music, Snoop Dogg has change its name to Snoop Lion this also goes with his singing style from rap to reggae. The transformation commenced during Snoop Dogg's trip to Jamaica where he filmed a documentary titled "Reincarnated".

According to a reliable source, Snoop Dogg was baptised by a Nyabingi priest in a temple naming him Snoop Lion burying the old name which was associated with sex, drugs and petty crimes.

"I was baptised and named a new name for I am embracing the Rastafarian culture. I want to leave my old me behind and moved on to the future with my new self as a better person with new norms and new singing style."

Snoop Dogg has entertained us over the years with his antiques and prowess in singing. He has left the hip hop world but grasp a new genre in the music industry, and that is reggae.

His name may have change but his legacy as a rapper will be immortalized.
