The whole country, Philippines is mourning for the death of D.I.L.G. secretary Jesse Robredo. His body was found after two days of intensive search and rescue operation in the bottom of the sea where his plane crashed. Robredo was bound to go home to his hometown, Naga City after having a speaking engagement in Cebu.
The four seater plane took off in Mactan International Airport and after a few minutes of the flight, the plane went down to Masbate. It was reported that the cause of the planes crash was engine failure.
The body of Sec. Robredo was found bloated and still wearing its safety harness (seat belt)depth of 180 feet.
Robredos's body is still in Masbate City and is scheduled for deportation to his hometown in Naga where the burial will took place.
The death of Jesse Robredo is a great lose, in his hometown and far more to the Philippine government. He is a competent and trusted office official who deals with crimes, national security, good governance and graft and corruption.
